The BigApple 2013 was a great experience for the IFVP! Over 110 participants from more than 16 countries shared, learned, networked, and, of course, drew, graphically recorded, visually facilitated and sketched on the walls, tables, and finally the floors of the conference rooms of the Marriott Downtown in New York City.
Here are comments from just a few of the participants:
Going to the IFVP was the best investment I could have made this year. It was great to sit in the audience and experience all the live graphic recording.
The biggest observation I think I can make as someone new is to say that, wow, I wish I’d found you all sooner!
NYC was great! I enjoyed the conference, the sessions, meeting new friends, and just the IFVP “community” in general.
I’m still pumped up from the conference and still coming up with new ways to incorporate visuals into my work, even when it’s just doodling my meeting notes
I, personally, had an amazing experience at IFVP!!!!!!!!!!! Because I work primarily in the world of Graphic Recording, workshops like the “Graphics Jam” and “Digital Graphic Recording tips” were particularly helpful as I was able to learn new skills to deeper my practice.

Visual Practitioners can be graphic recorders, facilitators, coaches, trainers, counselors, strategists, artists and leaders. We work as individuals or in both small and enterprise-level corporations. We are a network of diverse practitioners who use visual methods to assist learning and communication between groups and individuals.
