Chicago is served by by two major airports, Midway (MDW) and O'Hare (ORD).

O'Hare is the second busiest airport in the country. It is a major hub for United and American airlines. It is Northwest of the city and you can take the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Blue Line train downtown for $2. Taxi cabs are also available.

Midway is 6 miles closer to downtown, southwest of the city. It is home to many smaller airlines. It connects to the CTA's Orange Line train. It also has taxi cab stands.

Amtrak Trains
If you like train travel, Chicago's Union Station serves Amtrak and the depot is downtown.
