Global Summits for 2024 and 2026!

At their July board meeting the IFVP received two recommendations from the Global Summit Proposal Review Committee. We had requested proposals from our membership for a number of months and then the Review Committee took time to speak with the potential organizers. 

THE 2024 GLOBAL SUMMIT will return to Montclair State University's School of Communication and Media after 5 years since the 2019 Conference was held there. The dates will be July 29 -  August 2, which will include pre-conferences and a gala dinner. A summit team is forming to work out all of the details, and we benefit from feedback from 2019. The School has been hoping we would return ("What a wonderful group!") and we are glad to work with them. Flights to Newark are readily available, and there will be a range of housing options and prices (dorms to luxury hotels). Mark your calendars today! And send us pre-conference proposal ideas. We expect to have early registration open by December 1, 2023.

THE 2026 GLOBAL SUMMIT will be held in South Africa! A team is forming there to work out the details, but we anticipate a number of wonderful opportunities for experiencing the region as well as gathering with our community. Pencil in June/July 2026 for now, as we are told that is the best time to experience the region.
