A picture paints a thousand words. Yet, many of our kids are repeatedly told to learn from a “list” or are reprimanded when caught doodling in class. Our understanding of learning styles tells us that some kids learn best by talking aloud, while others need to get their hands dirty; but there are those special ones who learn best through pictures.

Ms Irene Hamons, co-founder of the “Art of Awakening”, will be sharing how we can help our visual learners utilize their artistic gifts in school to improve their note-taking, memory and overall engagement.
