IFVP Institute Board Meeting April 15

The IFVP Institute board met today to review progress on the Certification project. We continue to work with INIFAC on partnering for them to provide the formal certification based on our Visual Practitioner Competency Model. We are very close to completing our confidentiality, non-disclosure, copyright, trademark and registration in order for the nonprofit Institute to hold the intellectual property on behalf of our communtiy. We are hoping to run a pilot group in the Fall and then will begin to make this available. The goal is to have informational, developmental, mentoring and certification models available eventually. We discussed website revisions and possible participation in the NCDD conference this coming October. The board is excited that after years of work we are close to completing some of our goals.
