In this FREE, ~1-hour session, you will learn:
- What scaling up your letters mean,
- How to hold the marker to get the most out of the brush nib, and
- The limitless variations of line widths and how to apply them in your work.
What you will want to have on hand:
- BigOne® Art markers (any color)
- Paper (you choose)

With the Neuland BigOne® Art marker, you can scale up a variety of lettering styles:
- Brush script
- National Park
- Sign Painter

- Zombie Hand
These are all great lettering styles to use on banners, signs, flipcharts, and wall charts. There will be time in the session to ask questions and request any of these lettering styles to be demonstrated.

About the instructor
Heather Leavitt Martinez is a lettering artist and author of the award-winning book, “Lettering Journey: Fast, Functional, Fun!” She is also a Neuland ambassador who believes that letters are the foundation of communication and how we express them matters. Specializing in building a bridge between calligraphy and being a visual practitioner, Heather teaches, coaches, and tech hosts in online and in-person environments.
