Please join us March 14, 2023 for an OLS session on Financial Record Keeping Best Practices with Rebecca Dougan.

This session will provide an overview of best-practices for financial record keeping. We will discuss categories of expense tracking, options for record keeping, and reflect on our own current practices. 

Information in this session is not tax advice and should not be taken as such. Attendees are encouraged to see their own tax advisor for assessing their individual needs and financial planning.

Objectives

  • Participants will review the main categories of expense tracking.
  • Participants will compare and contrast 3 options for record keeping.
  • Participants will identify 2 areas of strengths and 2 areas of weaknesses for their own current practices. 

Format

This session will be mostly presentational. Time for Q&A will be available after the session, either as a group or individually, for up to 30 minutes total. Please have with you whatever method they are using for tracking expenses and income, as well as any questions you might have. This session will not cover any tax advice/questions.

Professional bio

Rebecca started her bookkeeping business, Auribus Company (named for her daughter's lovey), in October 2018 with one client. Auribus Company has grown to support 7 clients from a variety of industries in keeping their financial records organized. Rebecca lives with her family in Morgantown, West Virginia.
