A new IFVP Baby to Welcome to the Community

Everyone welcome the latest IFVP baby, Ellery Black!

 

She is the daughter of IFVP Newsletter Editor, Brandon Black and his wife, Marian. Ellery was born in Cincinnati, OH on Friday, November 2nd, weighing in at 6 lb 10 oz. While she is beautiful, shiny, new and fat, there were some complications during the pregnancy. Notably, before Ellery’s birth, she had some hemorrhaging in the brain. Doctors are still trying to assess what effect it will have on Ellery as she grows up but for now, she is safe, healthy, and happy with her parents at the NICU (Newborn Intensive Care Unit).
