A Summer of Lettering Tips Tuesdays FREE!

Please join me for a summer of Lettering Tips Tuesdays in these hands-on, virtual sessions, we will cover the lettering styles found at www.LetsLetterTogether.com and in my new book “Lettering Journey.” There will be giveaways throughout the summer including signed copies of my book, Neuland Markers, and other great swag.
NOTE: Some subjects may change, depending on the release of my book.

Week 1 :: June 4 - Pre-recorded
Everyone welcome to the “Lettering Journey” part 1. An overview of the book, free online resources, and an online course that will get you well on your way to YOUR Lettering Journey. I will give a quick demo on how to vary up any lettering style to give it emphasis. I welcome your questions in advance.
Why is this session pre-recorded? Because sustainability is key and I have a gig that day ;) See you live next week!

Week 2 :: June 11
All welcome to “Be fine with the FineOnes and round nib markers” Many people have a favorite marker: round, wedge, or brush. What’s yours? Round nib and FineOnes are great for rapid capture, drawing and sketchnoting. However, your form must be impeccable when writing with a monoline marker/pen. We'll go over good form and best practices when practicing.

All welcome to “Let’s master the No.One and BigOne wedge nib markers.” Do you feel like you don't have control over the wedge? Not sure where to put the thicks and thins? If you ever find yourself not getting the hang of the wedge nib, then join us for some tips and lettering styles to help you feel confident and the look you are wanting. We will talk about how to hold the marker, angles, and grips. And I will demo several lettering styles for rapid capture and emphasis.

Week 5 :: July 2
All welcome to “Writing with grace and intention—the No.One Art marker.” Many people have a favorite marker: round, wedge, or brush. What’s yours? If you ever find yourself not getting the hang of the brush marker, then join us for some tips, brush lettering, and flourishes if we have time.

In this session those of us who have been to IFVP, EuViz or EVFP meetups can share experiences. I will talk about the gear I take—including the FineOnes, SketchOnes, and TwinOnes—and how I would use them.
