Using the power of cartoons to engage & connect with business audiences.

I'm a designer and corporate communications specialist with a twist. I have extensive industry experience and a pretty damn good record of achievement.

The twist? I'm also a cartoonist. Humour is often a key element in my work. At the heart of all effective communication is a story: I'm essentially a storyteller, using tools such as animations, cartoons and other visuals, together with a few well-chosen words. I work with presenters, distilling and refining ideas and information, making messages memorable.

And my story? For over 20 years I was based in London. As Design Director for agencies, Murdoch’s and JWT I was responsible for the McDonald’s, BP, Ford, NatWest and Woolworth’s accounts. My own London business, Sherriff Design, included clients Arthur Andersen, Reed Exhibitions, The Royal Horticultural Society, Linklaters & The Post Office.

A decade later, I sold my business to DMB&B London. I was appointed to the board as Creative Director Design to build DMB&B’s first design business. Clients included Barclays, JP Morgan, Standard Chartered Bank, Euroclear, Société Générale, Fiat and Mars.

In 1998, I moved back to Sydney established The Corporate Storyteller. I now provide tailored
and innovative corporate storytelling services for clients as diverse as AMP Capital, Infosys, Telstra, ANZ bank, Caltex, CommBank, QBE, PwC, STW Group, Accenture.
My not-for-profit clients are The RUOK? Foundation - for suicide prevention and The Gunawirra Project - providing specialised services for young Aboriginal children.

I live & work in Sydney, but always happy to jump on a plane.
