About
Chrissie Bonner - Principal & Founder
Chrissie is an organizational development practitioner and illustrator. Her interest in visual work is founded in an appreciation for deeper levels of listening, cultivating the mindsets necessary for transformative change, and for designing environments for people to be creative and do their best thinking.
She studied studio art and art history at Temple University, and later, arts administration at Drexel University. She also studied organizational development and leadership in the School of Professional & Applied Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM).
Prior to starting Illustrating Progress in 2015, Chrissie worked in philanthropy, supporting the capacity-building and leadership efforts of over 200 nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia region.
In 2018 she collaborated with Jefferson Health Systems and Jefferson University CEO, Dr. Steve Klasko and Michael Hoad to illustrate and publish Bless This Mess: A Picture Story of Healthcare in America.
Chrissie also teaches Adaptive Leadership in PCOM’s Organizational Development and Leadership graduate program.
