Joran Slane Oppelt is an international speaker, author and consultant with certifications in coaching, storytelling, design thinking and virtual facilitation.

He is the former Director of Creativity and Innovation at RIDG (Royal Innovation Design Group), a corporate innovation consultancy specializing in visual solutions and change management. He is a master facilitator, having led game-changing meetings for high-level clients; and has trained a team of skilled facilitators to drive transformation and deliver “great reckonings in small rooms.”

He is a former marketing director (Creative Loafing, Straz Center for the Performing Arts), with experience in publishing, digital media, and event management. Joran is the co-author of The Visual Meetings Field Guide: How to Facilitate Great Meetings with Amazing Teams (with Michelle Royal) and contributing author of The Creativity Workbook for Coaches and Creatives (with Dr. Eric Maisel).

Joran has shared the stage with Ken Wilber, Otto Scharmer, Jane Goodall, Howard Rheingold, Gary Vaynerchuck as well as Blues Traveler, Blind Melon, Men at Work, The Fixx and more at events like South by Southwest in Austin, TX; Parliament of the World’s Religions (Salt Lake City and Toronto) and Integral European Conference in Siófok, Hungary.
